Mr. Harper said he tapped Mr. Emerson because he wanted to strengthen regional representation in his cabinet. Despite gains in many regions of the country, the Conservatives failed to win any seats in Canada's three largest cities – Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal.

This reminds me of the time when the PC Party was reduced to next to nothing, yet Mulroney claimed that he could still have won another majority. Fortunately for Canada, the string of directorships was waiting and Brian baled out into a pot of gold.

Politicians live in dream worlds, totally removed and divorced from any realities. In any case, the Stronach affair had nothing in common with Emerson's activities, but it is definitely time to stop this fence jumping, unless an MP decides to sit as an independent.

Even that would be questionable, because most people vote for parties, not individuals. I could never vote for a communist, or a so called conservative, both ruling class collectivizers, even if they were my personal friends.

“I actually do think I could probably win an election as a Conservative,”

The below is worthy of investigation
(it came to me in caps)

THE BRITISH NORTH AMERICA ACT, 1867... NOTICE THE WORDING... SAYS CLEARLY ALL THOSE HOLDING PUBLIC OFFICE HOLD OFFICE AS OFFICIALS UNDER THREAT OF PENALTY, LIABILITY, RESPONSIBILITY... DESPITE ANY POWERS, PRIVILEGES AND IMMUNITIES...

It is stuck up jerks like Emerson that make me happy I own numerous firearms. The sad fact is that I feel someday soon I will have to use them in a manner I feel unbecoming of a human being. If this cocky SOB thinks he can win then he should run for office as a CONservative, otherwise he should start running for the hills. Even though the Nazis were horrible people I think one of their techniques, boarding people up in buildings and then burning it, may help clear the minds of certain politicians

My goodness wasjod, I, for one, am not so comfortable with the idea of you having all those firearms. You seem to have a pretty morbid view on things. I like to think there are other options to fix our problems.

I to would like to solve things in another matter but would you just stand by and let a politician tell you that you must give up your biometric data for an ID card? Just how far are you willing to be a pussy? I own firearms for hunting and to protect myself from government tryanny. I am not a conspriracy nut but if you think that mommy government is going to save you from what ever BS they manufacture you need to take your head out of the sand. I spent two years in Uganda and they literally die for the right to vote and expect who they vote for to actually represent them. As far as I am concerned we deserve to be ruled by military despots, it would serve us right. We seem to be more concerned with the latest reality television program than who is representing us and how they are destroying our countries morals and values.

To further your education I have included the 14 characteristics of Facisim below. I think the Canadian government has met numbers 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13. The US of course meets all 14. Good luck with your dictatorship, me, I hope to die in battle before it gets to that point.

Fourteen Defining Characteristics Of Fascism
Dr. Lawrence Britt has examined the fascist regimes of Hitler (Germany), Mussolini (Italy), Franco (Spain), Suharto (Indonesia) and several Latin American regimes.

Britt found 14 defining characteristics common to each:

1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism - Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.

2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights - Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.

3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause - The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial, ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

4. Supremacy of the Military - Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.

5. Rampant Sexism - The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Divorce, abortion and homosexuality are suppressed and the state is represented as the ultimate guardian of the family institution.

6. Controlled Mass Media - Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.

7. Obsession with National Security - Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

8. Religion and Government are Intertwined - Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions.

9. Corporate Power is Protected - The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.

10. Labor Power is Suppressed - Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.

11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts - Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts and letters is openly attacked.

12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment - Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.

13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption - Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.

14. Fraudulent Elections - Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.

The above is a summery of the more detailed orignal article "Fascism Anyone?" first published in Spring 2003 edition of Free Inquiry

the following I believe is to be found in Black's Law Dictionary.

"Citizens are members of a political community who, in their associated capacity,
have established or submitted themselves to the dominion of a government for the
promotion of their general welfare and the protection of their individual as well as their
collective rights." cite omitted
How ya like it so for/
Black`s law Dictionary 5th Ed. defines a Fiction of law as:

"Supposition of law that sometimes which is or may be false is true, or that a state of facts exist
which has never really taken place. An assumption. Ryan v Motor Credit Co., 30 N.J.Eq. 531, 23
A 2d 607, 621.

Furthermore, a Fictitious Plaintiff is defined as: a person appearing in the complaint yet who in
reality does not exist. . .. It is contempt of court to sue in the name of a fictitious party. Fictitious
is defined as being: "Founded on a fiction... not real, false, not genuine, non existent, arbitrarily
invented and set up.

There are Canadians working on the above with the view to staking their claim of individual sovreignty

Having grown up under fascism, I can recognize the long term plans of Bush, his puppy Harper, the phoney "free trade agreements", the WTO, WB, IMF, the neoclassical economic theory and generally of political movements, calling themselves "conservatives", as the harbinges of fascism under globalized corporate dictatorship.

We can change governments, but once big business gets into decision making powers, how are we going to stop that, when the lives of urbanized societies depend on them for survival?

I have guns too and know how to use them to protect my herd and livestock from predators and am doing the same in words against human predators, calling themselves "free enterprisers", out to destroy and enslave humanity to steal their properties, children and lives with the power of imaginary capital.

>Bush, his puppy Harper

On behalf of dog lovers everywhere I must vigorously protest the use of the word "puppy" when describing PM Harper.

Puppies are cuddly, cute, playful, and grow up to be the best friends most people will ever have.

Harper, however,is a lying, conniving, back stabbing, two faced, globalist who would rather sell the country than guide it.

May I suggest the use of the phrase "drooling syncophant" instead?

Thank you.

Is there any reason why Emerson can't be charged with fraud?
