For hard rock the guys still seem to have the edge, tho a chick singer can't hurt.

I'm looking for suggestions for good girl pop groups. Doesn't even have to be girl groups, just ones that prominently feature women singers, preferably harmonies.

I know this is mostly a site for manly men and all, but I hope to hear some suggestions.

Bit of a necro here, but I had to share this amazing voice.

Adele; the best singer you've never heard of.

You have taught them well. None of that over sampled computer generated crap! At first I thought she was Creole, by the sound of her voice. But she's a Brit! I'm not the best on Brit accents, but I think I hear North England. Manchester, I think.

Her voice is good, but the music doesn't really do it for me. The Brits seem to be turning out a few of these. Amy what's her face certainly has a voice too. And then some other chick, forget her name. They sound like they could be black.

But what I was looking for is women singing harmony - that just kills me.
