I'm usually not a fan of modern remakes on classic movies but this will probably be worth seeing. Not much info on it yet.

It's got Charlize Theron in it, so might be worth watching just for that. But otherwise they'll just screw it up. Just as there was no good Bond after Connery. And what made MM appealing was that it was low budget. I kinda looked like it was a post-apocalyptic made film. Any high tech effects will just detract from the movie.

The first MM had a $300k budget. This one a $100 million :?

What those guys don't get is that cheese doesn't improve just because it costs more.

Yes, the world is running out of fuel, so we'll all drive supercharged vehicles with blowers. No one was driving a Prius. :?

There's only one dude listed there, Nicholas Hoult . He's English and looks Mad Max-ish. My bets are it's him.

If it's made right it could be good. Without a doubt the director has a tough job ahead of him.

Oh, didn't see that thanks. I just hope its a no name actor and not some "star" like Tom Cruise etc. Films like that you don't need star power to attract an audience it already has a following. So if they do put in a well known actor, I know it's going to suck right off the bat and it'll be a rental.

Tom Hardy (Shinzon from STTNG: Nemesis) is playing Max. Hardy's also going to be playing Bane in the next Batman film.

Hardy also did a one-man stage show called "Bronson", that later got turned into a really bizarre film, about the most dangerous inmate in Britain's prison system. Hardy's the real deal as far as acting goes, so what he does in Max should be worth watching.

Odd that IMDB dropped the ball on this one by not mentioning him. They're usually much better than that.
