Kim Kardashian learned that lesson the hard way on Monday night after the Purple One pulled the reality star on stage during his show at Madison Square Garden in New York City and then quickly sent her packing when she failed to cut loose.

"OMG Prince just pulled me up on stage!!! I'm shaking!!!!" Kim Tweeted. "I was so nervous I froze when Prince touched me!!!!"

After a few moments of Kim standing frozen in awe of the music royalty, he promptly told her, "Get off the stage!"

Kim, however, was able to make up for her first lackluster appearance later on in the concert.

"Went up on stage AGAIN! This time I redeemed myself! We all danced while Prince played the piano! Wow! What a night!" Kim Tweeted later on Monday night.

Kim was joined at the concert by her basketball player Kris Humphries, who Tweeted, "Kim got shy on stage... She looked gorgeous though! Kimmy got nervous. So cute though."
