A must watch for all enthusiastic firearms aficionados, AKA...gun nuts! Sons of Guns is a half hour show on the Discovery Channel which follows the exploits of ex marine Will Hayden and his daughter Stephanie who own and operate Red Jacket Firearms in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Red Jacket is a custom gun shop specializing in customizing and improving AK-47's, but is up to any and all challenges. Some of Will's builds include rebuilding, testing and firing a WWII flame thrower for another ex marine whose exploits with a flame thrower on Iwo Jima earned him the Medal of Honor, he has also built integral sound suppressors for a 12 gauge slug gun and the AK-47. It's definitely worth watching just to see some of the innovations they come up with to meet the challenges they face in making a completely custom firearm operate with 100% reliability and safety.

I watched a few epidsodes, was so so, if nothing is on then yeah I'd watch it.

Just started a brtish show, british military driving school. Watched a few show. It had potential to be a good show, but a crappy host and the way the show is formated turned out to be a serious let down.

The gun they converted to a shoulder fired was a Browning Model 1919 which is a .30 cal. weapon, not a .50 cal.

Sort of interesting that the term son of a gun meant your mother was a whore
