bootlegga bootlegga:
One other hilarious tip I remember was stealing construction barricades from work sites and dropping them downtown in the middle of the night to fuck up morning rush hour traffic (one way to fight city hall)!

A stack of traffic cones can cause quite a bit of mayhem, as well!

A few of them can block off a turn lane and that's always handy!

"Under The Sun"

I've seen some strange stuff, and this is on the top of the list now. It's shot inside North Korea over a year, following a young girl's life. It's shot by a film crew from Germany, Russia, France and a couple other places. But it's entirely scripted and controlled by the North Korean Government.

You can tell they have no idea how to make a film. It's obviously propaganda, but they made the mistake of letting the film crew out with the raw footage. So, most of the dialog in the film is through watching a scene be filmed, and re-shot, and shot again - and the viewer gets the idea behind the propaganda. That's the fascinating bit. You know it's going to be bad, in the sense that the North Korean's are oppressed, but you really don't know how bad until you watch it.

Sort of a spoiler, but not really: One thing I noticed, was a lack of animals in the film. Not just birds in the trees or scavengers in the cities, but cats and dogs too.

Also kind of creepy, was the realization the crew had, that no one ever seemed to leave. Workers didn't go home, children never were seen leaving school. 8O

"Under The Sun" made me recall our own pathetic stab at this kind of society...

"Chasing Coral" Similar in theme to "Chasing Ice". But it gives an insight into a world we rarely see. A little sad, a little happy. Mostly makes me angry, but whatayagunndo? :~

"Icarus"

Best documentary I've seen on Netflix so far. An amateur bike racer starts off wanting to prove that he can 'game' the system and use performance enhancing drugs and not get caught. He enlists some top level professionals, some of who back out to protect their reputations. But one is glad to help him, and in the end comes forward with all kinds of damming evidence that Russia has not only known about, but actively participated in covering up it's athletes using drugs to enhance performance and win medals.

"Unacknowledged"

Ok, take this one with a large salt lick. On one hand, could governments cover up such a huge event as aliens landing on Earth? On the other, they've managed to keep other huge things from the public before. Did Wernher von Braun really warn us of a 'false flag' alien invasion by humans on his deathbed?

A lot of testimony and evidence from some pretty respectable people. Is it for real? Is it out of context?

Up to you to decide for yourself.

Why make up shit about aliens when it's so much easier to just let the media create strawmen out of Trump and the apparent millions and billions of racist Klan members in the West?

"The Confession Tapes"

If you liked "Making a Murderer" . . .

This is why you don't judge people based on media reports! Some pretty shocking video of people who claim that confessions were coerced out of them, for things they didn't do.

"The Farthest — Voyager in Space"

$1:
THE FARTHEST tells the captivating tales of the people and events behind one of humanity’s greatest achievements in exploration: NASA’s Voyager mission, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this August. The twin spacecraft—each with less computing power than a cell phone—used slingshot trajectories to visit Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. They sent back unprecedented images and data that revolutionized our understanding of the spectacular outer planets and their many peculiar moons.

Still going strong four decades after launch, each spacecraft carries an iconic golden record with greetings, music and images from Earth—a gift for any aliens that might one day find it. Voyager 1, which left our solar system and ushered humanity into the interstellar age in 2012, is the farthest-flung object humans have ever created. A billion years from now, when our sun has flamed out and burned Earth to a cinder, the Voyagers and their golden records will still be sailing on—perhaps the only remaining evidence that humanity ever existed.

Fun fact from that - Voyager had the same equivalent computing power as something in your pocket. Not your cell phone, but the key fob for your car that opens the doors. 8O

Didn't they recently fire the thrusters too?

Take a look at his tombstone if you want a clue.
