I had made a list months ago of movies I wanted to watch that I found in their library then when I went looking for one them one night it was gone, as were a few others I looked for again. It seems they have some kind of rotation system, perhaps dropping shows/movies that don't get watched much :?:

I should inquire at some point and see what their response is.

Guy_Fawkes Guy_Fawkes:
I have noticed some of my favorites have vanished as well :(

"The IT Crowd" reappeared over the weekend.

Some new treasures:

"Shaolin" I heard about this movie, but finally got to watch it. Jackie Chan's first I think, and in one scene if you look really close you'll see a very young Jet Li. It's Chinese and subtitled, but a good watch. Definite comedy, some uncomfortable parts, but a good movie overall. And the Brits get cast as the bad guys!

"Chronicle". Kind of a normal 'teen agnst' movie, but a sort of a neat twist on it. Some good direction too, as some scenes put you squarely in the charaters' mind.

"Trailer Park Boys" Yea, I know. But I forgot how funny it really was. I am enjoying re-watching them in order.

There's been some good additions lately IMO. Firstly, all season of ST:TNG are available. Also, Sliders a show I liked back in the 90's (plus after season 3 it had Kari Wurher [drool] ).

The UK version of The Office I also would recommend.

There's also an interesting documentary I saw the other other day as well. It's call After Porn Ends and its about a bunch of porn stars (both male and female) and what they did with their lives after they got out of the business. It's interesting but pretty R rated as you'd expect.

ST:TNG! Thanks! :D That's awesome. I'm going to get started on that. I haven't noticed it being shown on reruns on TV for awhile unless it's on at some time when I'm not watching. I'd much rather watch them all again in order anyway, not that I haven't seen them all numerous times before  . I finished watching the 3 seasons of Arrested Development (what a hilarious show that was) and have watched a few movies lately that have been finally added, like Hunt for Red October(seen a long time ago) and The Wrestler (which I just saw for the first time).

I saw that After Porn Ends doc in the library but haven't watched it yet.

Right I was going to mention those too. Some real classics are there as well like The Hunt For Red October, Commando, The Terminator, and Heavy Metal.

IP man is awesome and a cult classic.

All of Star trek, TNG, DS9, and Voyager are on Netflix (Enterprise is too but stay the hell away!) and all well worth watching. Netflix will make you a trekie if you let it. :P

Breaking Bad is far more engaging then I would have ever given it credit for.

Mr. Bean is British comedy at it's best and when watched with other people is a total and complete blast.

Reboot for the 90s cartoon kid in some of us younguns. :P

Finally one MUST watch the walking dead if you have ever had enjoyment from a zombie flick of any kind.

Maybe in the US. On Canadian Netflix there's only ST:TNG.

Sorry I forget sometimes that not everyone is willing or know how to use a DNS connection to get the same product for the same price as America.

I think TNG is the only one in Canada.

Just watched Red State, and Pontypool.

Red State is a Kevin Smith movie that is actually closer to a Tarantino movie than anything Smith has ever done. The gist is, Westburo Baptist like cult gets guns, and shit gets nasty.

Pontypool is a Canadian movie set in a small Ontario town. A very strange plauge takes hold of the populace leaving the local radio station as a bastion of defense. I dont want to spoil the movie, so I cant say more, but you should really give it a try.

Final season of Breaking Bad is this summer. It's going to be a short season, but it should be great.
