Interesting little series about Richie Ramirez, aka the Night Stalker.

"White Tiger"

I liked it. Not enough dancing for an Indian movie, and pretty dark in places. Corruption, the caste system, murder. It's pretty terrible to live like that.

One line stuck out though - I think it went "Election promises made me realize it is not good to be a poor person in a free Democracy".

Tin Star is on Amazon not Netflix, but I'm a few episodes in and if you can get past some of the the inaccuracies, such a Rocky Mountain town having an oilsands refinery, it's pretty interesting.

It has Waterton town standing in for the ficitional town of Little Big Bear, so there are lots of beautiful shots of the mountains and Tim Roth does a pretty good job playing a cop fighting alcoholism who came to Canada with his family to escape his past. The first episode starts off with a bang literally and the characters are well fleshed out nd interesting.

Staunch O&G industry defenders might be turned off by its anti-oil storyline, but all in all, I think it's pretty good so far.

"The Edge of All We Know"

Documents the first photograph of a Black Hole, and Stephen Hawkings' last paper on how the information paradox that Black Holes present was developed.

Sorry, no Youtube video yet.

Is that the same park that inspired Action Point the johnny knoxville movie?

Like most Netflix movie choices, I watched one last night about a psycho woman who incessantly snoops on her neighbours.
Like 90% of all their other movies, today I can't remember the name of it...

Right? Like all those 'movies of the week' that used to be on the networks. Entertaining, but not particularly memorable.

Did anyone catch the first season of this one? Was See any good? Seems farfetched but good writing and acting can typically make up for problems with the overall idea.

More Apple+. Has Sam Neill in it, which is always a huge positive.
