Mr. Robot is still the best show on TV.

Netflix. Tonight. The Punisher. 8O PDT_Armataz_01_36

I used to love Mike Zeck's "Punisher" artwork. He gave Castle almost a soul.

Now that was tense.

Moved slow and yet the hour moved fast and one needs to know what happens next.

I'll be there next Friday. I know that.

"Longmire" on Netflix, now that I finished "The Punisher".

Lots of good talent there, Lou Diamond Phillips, Graham Green, Peter Weller, Gerald McRaney, Katie Sackoff . . .

Final season too. :( But, it's been a good ride! And I'm sure Robert Taylor is related to Lee Majors somehow, even if he is an Aussie.

Yeah, the whole crop of Punisher came out the following day for me too.

Not sure what I thought of it yet. Has to incubate a bit, I think.

Somewhere between Jessica Jones and Iron Fist though. Just not sure where.

Years back I read a few issues of the Marvel Comic Runaways, then decided it wasn't worth the effort to continue looking for them so stopped.

I see they're doing a Marvel Runaways series now.

Might check it out. The comics weren't horrible.

I don't expect much though. I've been watching The Gifted (which is similar) and it's getting tedious.

Has anyone been watching Young Sheldon?

I never really followed Big Bang Theory aside from watching it now and then and reruns here and there but the spinoff is quite amusing.

We were watching it but then we lost interest in TBBT just because it's overstayed its time on TV. Friends at least had the sense to take a bow when the characters needed to move past being a bunch of zany 20-somethings and have them get serious about life.

TBBT features a cast of characters that's composed of weak male characters and strong female characters and at no point has anyone matured or developed. The jokes are stale, the plots have sometimes been recycled, and the gag in general has become tired.

Young Sheldon suffers from being set in the 1980's while the writing, clothes, and many of the hairstyles are conspicuously contemporary. Those errors in continuity bother me because I am a detail oriented person (in English that's pronounced 'nitpicker') and they are a distraction to me.

As TBBT jumps the shark (which it is doing much of this season) I also expect silly cameos on YS by TBBT cast such as Galecki and Cuoco.

If both shows make it to the 2018-2019 season I will be impressed.

Yu have a good point about Young Sheldon. I just find the kid who plays him really cute and the family is quirky. Perfect mindless sit-com fare.

We've been watching various shows on The Smithsonian Channel that is on free preview right now. There have been some really good documentaries about places and critters and such. It's good to have another interesting channel to tune into when "standard" TV is sucking.
