- endless opinions so diarrhea-like in intensity that they apparently has to burst out of their mouths in a stream of malicious shit in the exact same way their daily diet of cheetos & breakfast burritos & Red Bull has to burst out of their rectums
- rancid politics, from both the left and the right, designed to only (a) appeal to neckbeards identical in wretched character to them, and (b) piss off those who actually bother to watch the goddamn shows they merrily rip apart
- a gutter-level sort of cunning that somehow make their utterly worthless mutterings into something profitable on YouTube.

Is there any other criteria for being an internet-based critic that I forgot to include on the list? Is there anything, and has their ever been anything at all, to being a critic other than being a miserable c**t?

Nope. The internet rewards shitty-ness and the louder and shittier it is, the more likes and views. Its why I rarely if ever watch reviews on YouTube.

Willow is shit. I was hoping it wasn't but the characters are worthless and just can't act.

This has nothing to do with 'the message' and gender politics. You just can't polish a turd at no point did I care of ANY of the main characters and Willow himself seems checked out and the show has him as a side character in his own show. It's pathetic.

That’s one of the thing I hate the most about YouTube these days: every video is too damn long. People prattle on for 20+ min when they could have finished in five. I miss the 10 min time limit YouTube used to have.

Part of me (a good sized part) wants to just keep going and enjoy the fireworks.

But the better part of me is saying, 'C'mon now. Stop that. What will you do if the next thing you hear about poor Thanos it's that he stuck his head in his gas oven, or something?'

No fireworks incoming. All I know is that I can make up my own mind without the input of some internet clod and their irrelevant opinion. And a lot of you others simply can't. I got this way too because of what was happening on left wing sites like Gawker or Daily Beast, where some fucking reviewer distorted what happened on a show I'd just watched mere hours before, like GOT or Walking Dead, and realized these fucking assholes weren't even watching the damn show at all. They were just pulling shit out of thin air to strawman a gripe against and then opining on behalf of the their disgusting tribe in order to push the proggy talking point of the day. "Why aren't their any trans people in King's Landing? Flood George RR Martin's Twitter account and tell him what a horrible racist he is!".

And the right does it just as much too, mostly to take anything they dislike and spin it as part of the never ending "war on the family". Like the following example of Fiddy watching TV - "EEEEEEEK! a lesbian!", passes out from the vapours, can't finish the rest of the show due to be so overwhelmed, drops in to yell out IT SUCKS! at anyone who might dare to like what he hates, goes back to Daily Caller for more assignments on the operative's list to complete in order to receive another Trump NFT as his bonus....

How is it that your opinion that Willow is some sort of missed masterpiece is relevant but the guy who thinks it's garbage...his isn't? Is this some new definition of relevance you're working with? You seem to be saying it's because he's on the internet. But Thanos, old buddy, you're on the internet.

Also, it wasn't just him. Myself and many others think Willow sucks. Has nothing to do with lesbians. It's just junk.

Actually all I said was that Willow was a harmless and mostly fun little show with great production values and that I'm looking forward to more of it if there's going to be more than one season. I never used the word "masterpiece" or claimed that it was "the best of the best in the entire history of bestestness". I leave that sort of thing to execrable critics & reviewers. Or to someone trying to make money online from telling the rubes just why a Gina Carano or Kevin Sorbo movie directed by Dinesh D'Souza & produced by Kirk Cameron is like seriously the greatest thing ever to put on film, and that "you need to go see it just because the shitlibs don't want you to!".

I do realize that strawmanning and gaslighting comes naturally to people on your part of the spectrum. But my original post was only like one page ago so there was no really effort required for anyone to examine what I actually said, as opposed to them going only by what you said I said. So you sort of failed noticeably with this one, chief. Now, back to YouTube with you in your daily multi-hour search for "expert" opinions that match your own so you can yell out "ah ha! proof!" in joy that you've found some sort of allegedly unimpeachable confirmation of whatever talking point you're current working on.
