I was just wondering if there was anywhere such as a pub where Ex-Pats meet in England. I've heard of a place called the Maple Leaf pub in London does it exist? I'd love to meet fellow Canadians on this side of the pond. [flag]

The Maple Leaf pub is highly popular and even serves Poutine! However, I live up in Scotland and while there are quite a few Canadians up here, we don't seem to have a meeting place. lol

No meeting places in Pittsburgh either

I can't wait to get to Florida and join the snow bird cult.

It's funny eh? Us Canucks don't congregate in large drunken groups like the Aussies and Kiwis do in London. Not sure why. Maybe it's because we make friends with the "locals" more easily!

I always have looked at it this way ! Our population isn't that big, so therefore not many Canadians live abroad. I know their is a fair amount in Stockholm, but that's the capital & job area.

Yeah. Go to the Earl's Court area of London and there are more Aussies there than native Londoners.

Here's a good website for Canadians in the UK -

www.canucks.co.uk

And it has a discussion forum.

And there is the London Expat Canadian Meetup Group -
