Of course, I might be wrong. Any or all of the leaders might improve their performances between now and the election.

Regardless, it's Doug Ford's (un)popularity in Ontario that will affect Scheer the most. I imagine the Kenney shit show in Alberta will be in full swing by then too. Scheer can't really do anything to change these.

Any way for Scheer to distance himself from Ford and Kenney without losing party support?

I don't know. I'm just a computer geek. ;)

I doubt it though. They've been playing up the conservative brand for almost 4 years, too late to walk that back now.

They are different parties. But some on the left will try to use it, without remembering that electing idiots like Nutley and Orville Reddenbackerh didn't hurt Trudy Soxy very much.

Yeah they could've worried about the defecit and laid people off instead of doing all that road and infrastructure work. Coulda cut hospital funding, picked a fight with teachers over sex ed or some other honorable thing Tories do. Probably Jesus woulda looked down, saw they were good Conservatives and not sent the forest fires too!
Maybe the pricks with the "Fuck Trudeau" bumper stickers would be happier if Trudeau hadn't spent $4 billion, Kinder Morgan was cancelled for good (oh well, that;s just free enterprise at work) and they coulda just got on with their burger-flipping certificates.
Yeah people are stupid.

Yet it was the laughably bad regulatory process that led Kinder Morgan to sell the pipeline in addition to the fact that the simple-minded bumpkins that call the Lower Mainland home would keep throwing tantrums like an unruly toddler.

Tricks Tricks:
Seats taken from the PC's make it more likely that we get a minority Liberal government

Which means that there would almost certainly be a vote of no-confidence afterwords, which would trigger another election.

People also seem to forget that no one gave the new parties in New Brunswick or Quebec any kind of a chance, and they went on to form governments.

This fall election is going to be most interesting indeed.

Here's hoping Mad Max wins [B-o]

Yea, because that's what Canada needs, it's own racist head of government.

Conservatives 'declaring war on Canada Food Guide' like they did on long-form census, Trudeau says

Best politicians money can buy. (from the discount bin)

I know you tried to post this Beave, but the URL is wrong and General Error keeps reading my SQL when I try to post in it.

Here's my take on the Leaders thus far:
Bernier -> I like, but I don't like the extremist groups he's frequently been seen with, I'd vote for him IF he'd distance himself from them.

Scheer-> Who? The man is vanilla's vanilla. He's done nothing to stand out, nothing to assert himself from the pack. To me- he's still Trudeau Lite, I'll not be voting for him, and he's done nothing to change that opinion.

May-> Nope. Just Nope.

Singh-> The man has ensured most of the moderates have left the NDP. His party's interest in the LEAP manifesto has turned me off from them. Pass.

BQ-> How are they a federal party?!

Trudeau-> He's done more to destabilize confederation and play to the extreme minority than any other Prime Minister in this country's history. I have zero interest in voting for the man.

Our current crop of "leaders" is fricking pathetic.

Although, I disagree about May. She's a bit extreme on some things, but I think an extreme approach is needed on those things. On most important things; socially, financially, she's pretty moderate.

Sorry guys, I might have to go BC this year... unless the Rhino Party has a candidate in my riding.

I'm writing promises for the Rhino party... if you have any suggestions, you can post them here and I'll give you full credits. :D

Giving the "right to vote" to cats and dogs might be nice... we would need a form of permanent registration though, a photo ID.
