Figures. Some effin' Chinese troll using a Seoul proxy.

Over on one of the forums I moderate we've been getting 100-200 Russian and Chinese trolls per week. I'm sure you folks have been busy zotting the little b'tards, too.

Oh yeah, one of the bonuses of moderating this site is the joy of "disappearing" some of these trolls, spammers and other low lifes..... :D

In fairness, totalitarian communism is worse. In the past thousand years the only real examples we've had of totalitarian theocracies have been Islamic states and while they're not a bunch of fun, they don't kill people in the phenomenal numbers that the communist regimes do.

Frankly, if you live in an Islamic theocracy and you decide to become a moslem then you'll probably do okay. In a communist regime you stand a good chance of being denounced by someone who wants to make a reputation by denouncing people.

The moslems actually get irate when one moslem lies about another. But the communists seem to be just fine with lying about one another and having people purged and disappeared.

Tibet wasn't Islamic, and they had the same setup of the ruling clerical class as communism has with the party members. Reports seemed to indicate a similar level of personal corruption and harassment of people. Although those are now long dated thanks to the Chinese takeover / reclaiming their lost province.

In the end I guess Penn was correct, the lesser of two evils is still evil.
