I've been following the election threads but I've noticed that a lot of the same arguments come back ad nauseam. I would like if we could ban some of them. Maybe a kind of self-censorship would work.

#1... "If the shoe was on the other foot"
#2... "Well you guys did it before" or "...have been doing it for way longer than us"
#3... "We all know that politicians lie"
#4... "We all know that politicians never keep their promesses"
#5... "It's always been done this way"
#6... "It was like this when we came to power" or "We inherited your shit"

And all variations and/or combinations of the above.

I'm not against adding to the list, so suggestions are welcome.

Similar, but I was thinking more in light of all the 'people banned because of facebook' threads. It the one-upsmanship that adds nothing to this "Seinfeld Election".
