CBC has a survey you can fill out, its about 30 steps long, only took me about 2-3 minutes to complete though.

Hey Trev way back when you posted a link that would let you know what your MP has been up to (what he voted on, if he made the news ect) do you still have that link?

you mean http://politwitter.ca/ which Is another site I made/run.
It tracks anytime an MP is in the news and what they say in Parliament, along with all the social media content.

http://politwitter.ca/mp_search.php search for your MP or riding here.

For voting record there are 2 sites

Mine falls about where I presumed it would fall. Should be leaning more towards social liberalism however. And further to the right regarding economic conservatism.

So how do you attach the results?

Apparently I'm more left and more socially conservative than I thought I was. Apparently my picks for PM are Steven Harper and Elizabeth May. I think this questionnaire is bullshit.

It is a little off I think. My results make me look like a fundamentalist christian on the social side of things. Considering I'm reluctantly pro-choice on abortion, and aggressivly apathetic when it comes to gay marriage, I'm not sure how that happened lol

Apparently I am the most socially liberal and economically left of all the people who have taken the quiz and posted their results so far. I'm not really surprised though, given my stances on things like immigration, justice structuring, and social ideals. This is fairly consistent with other tests I have done in the past, although it does place me a little farther along than I thought it would. Personally, I consider myself a moderate, and don't lend much credence to these tests.

I don't think this test is exhaustive enough though. It only focuses on some wedge issues which don't accurately reflect the entirety of what parties stand for (or what people vote on), only their current stance on some issues. As the results go, it's pretty much Conservative versus opposition on those issues. I would consider myself to be much closer to the origin, but apparently I am farther to the left than card carrying Liberal members on this site.

It also does not go into detail about some of the questions asked. If it did, I am sure it would move me a bit closer to the center. Before I edited my results to what was important, it had me smack dab on top of the Liberal party icon. These tests are making me feel all funny though -- first I have the smallest environmental footprint of everyone testing, and now I am the most Liberal?

andyt, take a screenshot and then just edit it in any program like Paint down to the size you need. That's what I did. The full reply screen gives you the optionto upload below where you'd normally click "submit."
