Its not the Conservatives who are in power right now. Not even close...

In order to topple the Conservatives, the Liberals needed the support of both the Bloc and NDP in their non confidence vote. The NDP, in choosing to abstain at the most recent vote left the Conservatives in power, and delayed an inevitable election.

Thus, the REAL political power right now rests with the NDP - as long as they allow the Conservatives to remain afloat. Who knows... maybe next confidence vote, the Liberals will team up with the NDP and the Bloc may block 8O the vote.

..besides, everyone knows Canadians don't want an election now anyways. :D

I agree with ridenrain...but just because he is reflecting reality instead of the stuff that he normally posts. Nobody wants an election.

Didn't they try that about 12 months ago and totally show their arse?
