I prefer political ads that are positive and show good things and positive directions that we can move.

I am disgusted by negative shit thrown by on candidate against another. It is insulting to me the voter, I would think that most Canadians would feel the same way.

Better than the alternative, you're right. To a lot of Canadians this is going to seem pretty cheesy tho. I like it best when they actually talk about specifics. This morning in AmericaCanada stuff is still just targeting the amygdala instead of the frontal lobes. But then it is a conservative ad after all.

Although, must say that this ad is better than all other crappy ads the CPC usually airs towards their opponents.

Agreed, I prefer the positive ads compare to the bun fights.

Now if I could catch him rocking out with Dave Grohl and Thom Yorke that would be awesome.

I completely agree.

Those attack style ads are a bit irritating for the most part.

It seems much better for ''any'' political party to convey their own electoral platform to the voting population.

Honestly, I commend the Conservatives for shifting away from attack ads. I don't care what the other party can't do or is violating. I wanna hear what your party CAN and WILL do. I'd love to see all the parties start promoting and raising themselves up as a campaign strategy instead of trying to rely on shooting down their opponent to make themselves SEEM higher.
