What this coalition does is effectively kill the Liberals in the west, outside of maybe a few urban ridings. It cannot possibly help the NDP out west either.

Oddly, the party that could benefit the most are the Greens, if, of course, they don't screw it up, which is a big assumption. With the Liberals dead and the NDP in retreat out west, that opens the door for an opposition party to fill the vacuum. That could be the Greens. They were essentially tied with the Liberals and the NDP in Alberta, for example.
