The west voyed 65% in favour of Harper. That's a MASSIVE majority and now eastern Canada is thumbing their nose at all of those Canadians.
I think that is a very astute observation. What happens when it comes time to introduce a climate change plan which is going to have to happen within the possible life span of this co-idiot-alition. Westerners all ready see such a move as an attack on their provinces incomes? It would have been bad enough for the Conservatives to make such a move but when an un-elected coalition who's power base is in the east tries ...... heaven help them.
The West has finally been enjoying some of the influence that many Eastern provinces have had for years. When bail outs to Eastern provinces start happening and the West see that not only are none of those aimed at us but the money for those programs is also coming from our coffers the not so old resentments of the past will be resurected and will continue to build.
