What I find somewhat ironic is how things come home to roost.

Remember the LIBRANOs delight in stling Preston manning as "Parson Manning". This obvious reference to manning squeaky voice and spectacled appearance. Benigh conditions irrelevant to competance....

And now they have the "fairy-like" Dion........

I'd be surprised if any politician who is physically unnatractive or outright ridiculous would not be laughed at by at least a few of his dumbest adversaries. On the other hand I would be surprised if laughing at his or her physique became a mainstream action among opponents. I guess it's just the normal way of things for a politician to get laughed at by an opposing party's members while avoiding derision coming from the top of the party (since that definitely wouldn't bring anything good anyway).

There called Liberals not Libranos Sasquatch get it right one of these days. And despite what you may think they at least deserve to be called for what they are...liberals.

I just pigeon-hole him in with Republicans who start giggling like schoolchildren every time they emphasize the RAT in Democrat. Or felt so proud when they changed "french fries" into "freedom fries", like they'd accomplished something really significant and meaningful. Sad really.

I guess there's types like that on both sides, but my warped sense of bias doesn't seem to notice it on the "other side" as often.

Speaking of Sopranos comparisons, how does Harper explain why his party HQ overrode democratically nominated candidates? It's happened twice now, and that was Harper's big campaign, was that he was mad the "Liberanos" do it, and he thought it was wrong. And yet here we see Conservative party members nominating candidates, and HQ pulling a "Liberal" and telling the local party members to go to hell because they made the "wrong" choice...

Well there's that and frankly I have yet to see Harper take one step outside his circle to get the other parties opinon on anything out of the box.

The man just won't talk to anyone but his own people. That and I mean his reforms have been slow at best and free candy at worst. He seems to either revel in giving free money to taxpayers or set goals to reform 20 years into the future when he knows that things will have changed by then regardless.

Frankly I am very glad now that they didn't get my vote the first round. Unless Harper does pull a Mario and accually bothers to combat a problem by throwing it out on it's tail I'm just going to have to vote thrid party again.
