Just a page that keeps track of whether I'm awake (because I don't really exist on a 24-hour day, so it's good for people intending to call me or something to check) and kjorteo.net itself, which is somewhat in disrepair at the moment. Some parts of it are so obviously made with older web-design ideals in mind that I'm surprised there aren't any animated GIFs and background MIDIs. I did update some sections, but fixing up the entire site is something I haven't quite gotten around to yet.

I do have about seven or eight templates (matching awake/asleep pictures from different games) on the sleep page that I regularly cycle through, though. They're quite fun, and give me a chance to show my NES/SNES (plus one DS game so far, I guess) love.

Obama keeps talking about change but has yet to elaborate on exactly what changes he is proposing.

Obama would signal a change in attitude for the US if nothing else. It definitely wouldn't hurt the Americans, or anyone else in the world for that matter, if they had a President who (for a change) who did some radical things, for example, like not firing people in the Pentagon who told him the opposite of what he wanted to hear.

Brilliant, Kjorteo! You even have a "Mastered" skill level above mere "beaten", an idea I totally support.

I know what the Ketchup jellybeans do on A Boy and His Blob. In fact, they're the only use I remember.

All in all, your "beaten games list" puts me to shame. I think you've beaten as many SNES games as I've played. However, I did beat Final Fantasy Legend (for the original Game Boy) which you don't have listed. I guess I have some vague bragging rights.

I remember keeping a list like that ages and ages ago. it's too bad I didn't keep it around. :(

Still for new age retro gaming I highly recommend Dragon quest XIII for the ps2. It's really old school but has a lot of new age polish in the art department. Tons of fun I got over 100 hours out of it.

I'm assuming you meant Dragon Quest VIII ( 8 ) and not XIII (13), since Dragon Quest IX (9) isn't even out yet.

I'm about halfway through that game, and it is absolutely fantastic, but I just haven't had the time to work on it lately. It's one of the many things I wish I could get around to...one of the more prominent ones, in fact.

For new age retro gaming, I recommend Etrian Odyssey, which is another game I'm about halfway through and keep meaning to work on.

Nice site, Kjort. Got it bookmarked. Also explains quite a lot about your avatar... thought I was the only one around. Huh, guess that means I can open up a bit. That's good.

Most definitely. I thought nobody else than me would ever have interest in both politics and that kind of art.

Life's a bitch but damn sometimes it wraps up an unexpected gift for ya'.
