I'd like to add JJ, that you should have added a few mentions of resolutions in the UN box.

But yeah, basically this is the same cycle. I described something similar a few days back as well

I would be able to understand the commendation if they had fired on unarmed civilians but they were not unarmed, this is one quote i can think of from a comic is "Some one who takes up a weapon isn't a civilian any more, When you take up a weapon you're saying you intend to wound someone. From the start it also means that you're also prepared to be wounded by someone else"
In my view if Hamas is willing to use civilians as human shield, i wouldn't put it past them to infiltrate an aid convoy.

Exactly, the other 5 ships used non-violent resistance to thwart the IDF's efforts. The people on the 6th ship were fully intent on drawing blood from the Israelis and very likely intended for them to return fire.

As I said before, 99% chance that the next ship, from Ireland, is gonna get its rudder shot out.

It's also telling how Egypt has "opened" the border with Gaza, yet no Arab country allows large scale immigration. If there was real interest in peace, the Arabs would let all the Palestinians emigrate from Gaza and let the Israelis have it. Gaza is not prime real-estate as far as I can tell. They trashed anything worth having when the Israelis pulled out.

However, they aren't interested in peace. The Palestinians are convenient pawns that the leaders of these countries use to their own advantage. The Arabs won't take them, the Israelis aren't too keen on killing all of them, and Hamas won't stop launching rockets.

Unless you're a hunter or target shooter. But if you're going hunting at a protest, you're not a civilian anymore.

Random thought: red means communist, green means environmentalist, and blue (as in blue state) means liberal. Why don't conservative or libertarian have colors of their own?

Throughout most of the world, Red is a very popular colour in much Left-Wing politics. Including 'Liberal'.

In contrast, many 'Conservative' groups worldwide wave the blue hue.

The USA has an odd phenomenon where these are mixed (except for Far-Left Left-Wing politics)

Libertarian has always sounded like a dark blue to me.

Very excellent points Crosshair. I've often found it rather fishy that despite the constant outcry from the international community; none of the Arab, or the European countries are interested in giving Palestine a new home. Then again, I suppose it's much easier to settle into an eternal game of "he said she said" on the diplomatic world stage than it is to actually solve problems.

Oh and Welcome back JJ, I joined the forums after finding out you returned. I figured it was better to give you support now, as opposed to giving you a heart felt email when you decide to pull the plug. :)
