The puck was not long, long gone. Horton was hit barely a second and a half after making the pass.

He took almost two strides. It was long gone. And 1.5 seconds is a long time in hockey. Chara's slapshot (@ 100 miles/hour) travels ~ 220 feet in that time -- more than the length of an NHL rink.

But hey, I guess it's ok to whack a guy in the back of the legs with both hands 5-6 times before he goes down. I guess it's ok the punch someone in the back of the head 4-5 times in a row behind the net WELL after the whistle is blown. I guess it's ok to try and jam your fingers down someone's throat while giving them a facewash. As long as the asshole doing it is a Bruins player, it's alllll good

Let's ask Horton if he'd rather be slashed 5-6 times or miss the rest of Stanley Cup Finals because of a concussion.

Facewashes are a normal occurrence -- biting is not. Take off your Canuck blinders for 3 seconds and discuss hockey as a rational person please.

Oh please. How many times have you seen a hit come WAY later than that with no penalty. And almost two strides? Are you kidding me? What penalty do you want to call that? And 1.5 seconds is NOT a long time in hockey.

Ok, we'll ask Horton, then we'll ask Pacioretti. However, in Horton's case, the ICE gave him the concussion not the hit. But yeah, I guess it's Rome's fault that Horton was busy admiring his own passing skills. Do you suggest that a major and suspension should follow EVERY check where the checked player whacks his head off the ice?

Facewashes are a normal occurrance, true. Cramming you fingers into someone's mouth isn't. If bitch-boy Bergeron doesn't wanna get his fingers bit, he should learn to keep them out of other people's mouths. Pretty simple solution really.
Seems I'm not the one with blinders on here.
