Filibuster Cartoon
Title: Hillary Rorschach (click to view)
Date: October 07, 2007

Hillary Clinton now holds an absurd 30-point lead over Barak Obama among Democratic voters, making her seem— at least for now- unbeatable.

I\'ve always personally considered Hillary to be, at best, a sub-par and uninteresting politician. I am as baffled by those who find her \"inspiring\" as I am by those who consider her Satan in drag.

I think it's fairly safe to say the republicans have a snowballs chance in hell after bush of ever getting office again for a while.

I just really hope the democrats would put forward a better candidate.

Garbage in garbage out. The system is dysfunctional. I can't understand how any New York firefighter would vote for Rudy either. The democratic process flourishes when choices are evident but the media will only cover the candidates that they deem worth time to print to sell their publications or whatever campaign will pay for it. The net result is you end up with only one choice and that false choice is nothing but a conscription of consensus. The only thing heard loud and clear is money talking.

Are you serious? I mean, I thought Rudy Giulliani was a good one and did a great job then... Can you explain to me why you think this?

I never actually thought Hillary could win the White House. But looking at the uninspiring GOP bench of candidates...... *shakes head*

What seems to be happening is that the candidates are trying to reach the most people. So they attempt to seem like average Democrats/ Republicans. Take John Kerry. The reason he was placed as the Democratic hopeful was that he got the majority of the voters to believe he would do what they wanted. Many of these things may have been opposing views, but it didn't matter.
The same is said for the Republican view. Heck, Hillary Clinton could be comparable to George W Bush in the reason why she is liked. She has a respected name that makes one think of the presidency. She attempts to cover all the bases of popular opinion. She has rich friends, and is fairly wealthy herself. She has proven that she can play politics.
Something that could be said about Hillary is that she seems to have been preparing for the presidential run for a long time. She has made sure that she was noticed moving to New York.

The question I have is this, "Is this wrong?" Seeing as the person elected is elected by popularity. Shouldn't the presidential hopeful try to prove how Average they are? This means showing that they will use there abilities to do what the masses want.
What the political parties are trying to do is prove that there opinions are average. They are taking a huge amount of time trying to do this.

So yes, Hillary seems to be playing the game well. She has planned much longer then anyone else.

Oh and hi, I'm new.

Welcome aboard. When the game is stacked against you, change the game.

I would support Dennis just to see his wife get more air time. Smart and a drop dead gorgeous red head. As Dennis said about the cards holds true about the way the game is played, they are nothing but a pack of cards.

I was really, really hoping it would be Richardson...I'm not exactly a Hillary fan. But, you know, when election time rolls around, I'll watch all the Presidential debates, do some research on the candidates' stances on the important issues, and vote for the one of the two who's either with me on more of them or at least against me on less. Just like I usually do.

Just a phrase for thought: if gwb declares war on iran after the zionist 'Is real' Israel has already bombed iran, there will be NO elections, because, gwb has forseen this, and has taken it upon himself to introduce a long list if "presidential directives" , over the last 7 years, that has led up to, and includes his abilities to govern during a state of emergency....e.g., Martial Law. Go to White House...Presidential Directives..., and you will see that everything is in place. No election will take place. gwb, cheney, and homeland security chief will have absolute power. But, what will be left to power, if NUKES, the fallout of which are carried on prevailing winds, circumventing the Globe. Potassium Iodide pills will keep you from dying from the fallout. But, aside from the desire to see what happens next, do you really want to live long enough to know? I do. Ya know, couriosity killed the Cat. I still want the U.F.O.s to come and rescue us.
