We pay again and again, we think about good result and that our money won't be wasted. And in the end they say "Oops, sorry, we have what we have, give more money or everything will fall". The funniest is that we can't avoid paying. I like the general idea of this poster.

It's Alexander Hamilton. And people who knew him thought he looked like a chick, too.

The Speaker of the House actually gave a speech with "We're broke" as the theme. This time it's not about a greater virtue or a higher calling but just that we're out of cash. That bugs me.

Fair enough, but Reagan didn't fight two incredibly expensive wars like Dubya did - he just upped defence spending and military aid to allies around the world. To me, that is vastly different from what Reagan did.
