You're right, but it's wrong to I'm saying we need to make more of an outreach rather then say "It's wrong to deny gays exsist" then turn around and start calling each other fags as a downcall or deny gays the right of marridge or shoot them dirty looks in public.

We have something to learn by his remarks and something to show him. that's my point. It's wrong to point and laugh when we arn't much better ourselves.

How is setting an example to monkey-boy expect any chance of success when you are demonstrating the same implacable attitude although you have been raised and educated in a 20/21st century pluralistic, secular society rather than a society hopelessly trapped in the Dark Ages, as Iran is.

I'm not insulting your or hold any ill intentions for you so drop the personal attacks. I would rather not have to point to a moderator personal attacks like your post above.

That said Iran is not stuck hopelessly in the dark ages. A bit of research into Irans culture and the expanding range of littriture coming from the country in the past decade would point to a rising tide of education in the area.

What is terrifically amusing is the interpretation of my post as a personal attack.

I maintain my position. Leading by example does not work. China and India are still paving their skies despite the example of the west in cleaning up our act. The sun shines on the British midlands and the Ruhr but hasn't warmed Chongqing since 1942.
