Most humans think of community before themselves. Most humans think of themselves before community. This sounds like a contradiction until you realize most humans do one sometimes and the other at other times, depending on what community you're talking about. For example, most people I know put their family before themselves, but themselves before strangers.

It's not a meaningful characterization, especially when generalized so broadly.

This isn't as succinct as my previous answer, but it means the same thing.

Well, that's fine to let your sense of creativity run wild, so long as you wash your hands afterwards. While I cherish my 'Hilarious' medal, I also try not to ascribe things to people they haven't said.

My good man, that was just me rambling with only the vaguest interest in coherence. As I said, I am not writing in my Death Note, so I am not trying to be funny.

As Pseudo explained, my confusion lay in that the Queen of Canada is also our monarch, and Americans rarely see past their own self interests.

I felt that your confusion was at best misplaced and at worst false, so I attempted to play off of what I perceived as the attitude of someone looking to get into a confrontation. Keep in mind that I'm being intellectually lazy right now.

I'm guess I'm just not used to the non-reciprocal nature of our countries relationships. But I'm far from insecure about it. We may be friends and allies, and sometimes we try to be your conscious; but we're not your bitch.

I forgive you.
