Yes and if he is taken out like Saddam the mess will be even worse with a nuclear civil war so it is a good thing there is no oil in Pakistan. This joker is directly funding radicals just as overtly as Saddam ever did. Not too surprising as that is the only way to survive in a junta is to fight fire with fire. Just as Saddam ruled over three different secs buy having them constantly at each others throats so too does Musharraf rule. The major threats to his rule are India, the Taliban and a democratic movement in his own country. Guess which one is the biggest threat?

It's worth noting that Bhutto basically created the Taliban. Pakistan is ethnically divided, and keeping Afghanistan weak and overwhelmingly pro-Muslim was more or less the only way she saw to keep India from trying to encircle her country. She's no saint.
