Right-wing and Left-wing points are negatives of each other: if you have 3 right-wing points and a left-wing point, you have 2 right-wing points total. Left/right scores range from 26 right to 26 left, so the percentage is the absolute value of the difference divided by 26. |R-L|/26 Then the arrow points whichever direction has the most points. 14 authoritarian points are possible, so a percentage is determined by dividing your score by .14 and rounding. No distinction is made between domestic authoritarianism (forcing the citizenry to accept your views) and diplomatic authoritarianism (pushing foreign nations to accept your views). The points given by each answer are listed below, so now you can make your arguments about "How is realist military policy authoritarian?" or "Doesn't 'Token Deism' push religion enough to be authoritarian?" or such arguments. You can also compare these scores to the quiz and judge for yourself whether the answer as written reflects the philosophy and points as judged. The answers are listed below in the same order that they're listed on the quiz. ## Foreign Relations ## 1] Military Philosophy Pacifist Isolation [2L], Liberal Internationalist [1L], Realist [1A], Neoconservative [1R&1A], Imperalist [2R&1A] 2] Diplomatic Goal Pax Americana [2R&1A], National Sovereignty [1R&1A], Isolation [0], International Activist [1L&1A], Globalization [2L&1A] 3] Trade Philosophy Self-Sustained Isolation [0], Fair Trade [1L&1A], Social Activist [1L&1A], Fiscal Activist [1R&1A], Free Trade [1R] 4] International Role Globalization [2L&1A], Internationalist [1L&1A], Nationalist [1R&1A], Isolation [0], Federalist [2R] 5] Environmental Policy Doomsday [2L&1A], Green [1L&1A], Sustained Development [1A], Conservationist [1R&1A], Objectivist [2R]

If your government is doing more things, you'd need more tax revenue to do it. If you're advocating Largely Cut taxes and your authoritarian score is in the 70s, clearly you're kidding yourself. It was a greta quiz. The questions were very thought-provoking. Thanks.
