My thoughts exactly.
Dion was absolutly the worst pick of all time. He's too much of a coward to challenge Harper on anything and frankly that means he's an "oposition leader" that simply refuses to do his job properly. If you really think something is a bad idea then you are supposed to vote it down. He refuses to do this.
Harper for his part has been smart and has negotiated with the Liberals on a number of fronts appealing to the left and the central line while staying true to his own party's roots.
While I would opose any majority government from any side right now (as I belive governments forced to negotiate and find middle ground are best for the people in democracy) I find it hard to swallow the idea of accually voting for Dion when the man can't even really do his job or voting no on issues that he obviously does have a problem with.
That and I mean common this is a man who supports some silly ideas at times like Kyoto's Carbon credit idea of allowing the rich to pollute so long as they pay money to poorer countries who don't pollute or have much industry.
In any case let's just hope that the next election gives us another minority on either side. The Harper-Dion combo is just great for Canadians.
