Has anyone ever tried it? It looks easy enough to make as it involves a slow cooker and walking away for hours.

I tried drying some didn't go so well...

So ideas coments or sujestions on what I should do with all the pears would be good. My poor tree is almost flat so picking this weekend is happening as we are starting to loose branches.
