We always called it coke, because 90% of the time it was. Most other kids used pop. Nobody called it soda. Soda was what your parents kept in the bar to make drinks.
Freshie: I remember that stuff too back in the 60s!

Tahiti Treat or Kickapoo Joy Juice anyone?
Stubby chocolate soda?

Actually, I'd seen that map before, and just went and found it again to post here. I love maps. There's a great blog on maps: strangemaps.wordpress.com, though that's not where I saw this one.

I don't think Happy Pop is (although Google Maps gives an address in the westend), but Pop Shoppe is available at some London Drugs in Edmonton.

Aww man, choked me up a bit. Every family gatrhering growing up there was a crate of happy pop for the kids. Good times.

Also, I voted pop, and live in Edmonton.
