Finally read Laphroaig mentioned most followed Talsker and Oban. Now the fun begins. Must find scotch before weekend. I'm sure he will like scotch better than a Sculpture. Who thinks that stuff up really?

if price is an influence try Laphroaig Quarter cask. It is usually sold under $50 and is every bit as good as some costing $80+. If he is not a fan of the peaty scotches then a Glenmoraghie Quinta Rueben is nice, but I find it more of a dessert scotch.

As opposed to all other Scotch that is akin to parts cleaner?

Well got him the Laphroaig Quarter cask. Most cause it was the only Laphroaig I saw but I do have a list of 16 different ones for future ref. I've run out of tool ideas that don't need an out building to use and store.

So thank you all for the info. [B-o]

Now on to fun stuff must find needles for my new smock gathering machine and a belt for my new treadle

Scotch whisky, not whiskey. Whiskey is Irish.

Often wondered about that.

List of songs my old Celtic band played:

Whiskey You're The Devil
Whiskey Johnny
Drunken Sailor
Whiskey in the Jar
Johnny Whiskey
Whiskey is my Darling-O
Copper Kettle
The Old Black Rum
The Night that Paddy Murphy Died
Home for a Rest
Seven Drunken Nights
Casey's Whiskey
All for me Grog

If they weren't about booze they were about boats.
