It is community football - I forget the name of the league, but it's featured in Tuesday's Province every week.

I didn't realize that about High School football, but I remember when I was that age my boyfriend played American rules.

I wish I'd started a little younger so I could be ahead of the game.
If he sticks to it he should be reasonably good before spring ball.
The non football player's at our school always call us wimps and stuff.
It's satisfying to rally them at lunchtime.

I played football for St. Michaels College School I was an OL we're the heart of the team. We sucked this year but in four years I played I won 2 Metro Bowls and 3 league championships and we were the #1 team in Toronto for four years. ANyone from Toronto probably knows the Kerry Blues and any Private schools in CISAA hate us.

I played for 4yrs back in the 80's. Still have a limp from a knee injury. Concousion pron do to so many hits and a ton of other head bumps during life. Last I heard I still hold school record for most takles in one game (34).
I still have family who check out the games now and then and keep me updated on their year. Pluss I pop and E-Mail off now and then to the head couch who used to be the JV couch when I played. Pervious head couch was the offensive cordinator back when I played. Oh well memories are great and I'm just waiting for HS football to start down here in texas.
