After selling out the Nov 8th playoff game in 35 minutes the Riders took less then 5 minutes to prove that they were not capable of playing at a CFL level against any team, nevermind the BC LIONS.

7 turnovers later and no touchdowns Miller finally replaced the inept Bishop midway through the 4th quarter with the Lions up 21 points.

The Riders had no intention of winning this game. There was not one play, one touchdown or hit to indicate that any Rider player wanted to play past Nov 8.

Looking forward the Riders with the support of the city and the province hope to re-ferbish Taylor Field (Mosaic Stadium) or build a new venue, at a cost of $40 million dollars. FUCK THAT!

The sickening performance of Nov 8 proves that unless Ken Miller is fined, fired and kicked in the balls by every Rider fan, and Bishop is sent to exile in the Antarctic there is no ligitimate reason for any further expansion of the facilities for such a pathetic disgraceful bunch of idiots.

Being a lifelong Rider fan I am beyond disappointment with the pathetic, sickening and utterly illogical play of my home team. I am relinquishing my team and abandoning the green and white beacuse I would rather have bees stinging me on the inside of my ass then watch such a heartless pathetic bunch of overpaid idiots reduce a great franchise to shit.

I would rather be back in the years when we played with heart and finished last then this year when we should have been better but no one gave a shit except the fans who showed up for every single game.

We won last year with heart and guts and blood. We lost this year lacking all of this nevermind selling out every single game.

The fans deserve better. Sell the riders for $1. We'll cheer for the Rams.

Nah, I think Miller did fine.

I do think his decision to stick with Bishop after the 3rd quarter was a bad one, but given all the injuries the Riders had this year, they probably did better than they should have.

I didn't understand why Durant wasn't playing. He was awesome earlier in the year. I hope he's the starting QB in 2009.

woh Woh wHOA! Just stumbled across this thread. Are you on glue? The entire D line was playing like their lives depended on it! Expecially during the first half (I imagine they were getting a little tired at the second half, they never had a chance to sit down).

That's Bishop, should have pulled him in the first 1/4, he has moments of brillance, good days, and terrible days. After that 1st 1/4 it was pretty obviouse he was having a terrible day.

Chill out dude, they finished strong in a tight western division and there's always next year. This year, I think it would be nice for Montreal to get er done at home.

If they did, great. It's time for Durant and Jyles to get a shot and barring that, I can see Casey Printers becomming available in the near future.

Considering all the injuries that the Riders had during most of the season, I believe Ken Miller did a fine job overall. Sure I was angry that he kept Bishop in far too long when Durant would have done a better job, but that is now history. We now have Jason Clermont to lead us next year and hopefully our QB problems will be behind us. I find it hard to believe that you are a 'life-long' Rider supporter when you are so quick to denounce the team. That is not the Saskatchewan way at all. Suck it up, stick with the team and have some belief that things will get better, they eventually do. I think the Riders did as well if not better than many thought they could or would. RIDERS RULE [B-o]
