Friday's results were predictable, Winnipeg's gut it out comeback win against Montreal on Saturday, giving them a share of 1st place in the East was fantastic. The worst thing about the whole weekend was all the pink being worn, although it was for a good cause, it was especially ugly with the Eskimo's green and yellow. Now all we need is for the Lions to come back against Hamilton to win their ninth in a row and give them a share of 1st in the West with Edmonton.

Hamilton over BC 42-10 What a piss poor performance by the Lions in the 2nd half, giving up 26 points and scoring none themselves. Not a nice end to their 8 game winning streak...

Missed the game... damn job!

Yes, it is too bad about the win streak coming to an end but hey! Alot of people had written the Lions off a couple months ago and here we are with playoff hopes very much alive. Two games to go and the possibility of 1st place still within reach... who would have thought this situation in those first 7 games or so into the season.

WEEK 18......

FRIDAY, 8PM, ET

Image _____ @ _____ Image

SATURDAY, 3 PM, ET

Image _____ @ _____ Image

SATURDAY, 10 PM, ET

Image _____ @ _____ Image

SUNDAY, 1 PM, ET

Image _____ @ _____ Image

WITH FIRST PLACE POSSIBLY ON THE LINE IN THE WEST, (WITH THE COMBINATION OF AN ESKI VICTORY AND A STAMPS LOSS) THE LIONS AND STAMPS FACE A MUST WIN SITUATION TO GET HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE.

MONTREAL LOOKS TO HAVE THE TOUGHEST TEST THIS WEEK AS FAR AS THE POINTS RACE GOES IN THE EAST. WITH THE BOMBERS AND AL'S TIED AND HAMILTON STILL IN SHOOTING DISTANCE OF TOP SPOT, THIS IS A KEY WEEK FOR ALL THREE TEAMS, ESPECIALLY HAMILTON.

Was nice to see that TSN lifted the local blackout! Get to watch THE game of the regular season with first place in the West to be determined by the outcome. Great start but 3 Q's to go...

GO LIONS!

Definitely a nice surprise to see the game being aired, the biggest surprise though is the score.....24-1 going to the half......what happened to Montreal, are they still on the plane????

2nd half still to go...

The score is a bit of a shocker considering just as much is at stake for Montreal as is for the Lions. Last game of the CFL season and everyone is awaiting this outcome.

Hang in there guys!

Awesome!

After the terrible start to the season the Lions turn it around big time and come back to end up finishing first in the West. Way to go guys!

Should be interesting to see who we'll play for the Western final.

Image Who would have thunk it, after starting the season with a 0-5 record the Lions end up winning the West with an 11-7 record. What's even stranger is that all 3 top Western teams ended up with the same 11-7 record, the Lions winning because of their winning the season series against both Alberta teams. Also, Paul McCallum set a new CFL record for being good on 94.3 per cent of his field goals this season, hitting 50 of 53 field goals, this being after setting the CFL record for most consecutive field goals at 30. The Lions get next week off while Calgary and Edmonton duke it out in the Western semi finals and Winnipeg sits it out also while Montreal and Hamilton battle it out in the East.

Brain fart time for Hamilton, they had the game won then gave it up in the last 30 seconds! Tied at 44 into OT.
