My boss gave me 5 tickets on the 50 yard line for the edmonton-Montreal game.. what a blast.. havent been to see a live game in ages.. (edmonton won BTW) took the wife and our sons and my 2 brothers in law.. what a different look than when you watch on CBC(or any othr TV station).. Really enjoyed it even though I was so tired by the 3rd 1/4.. (my day starts at 430 am)... Them Eskimo cheerleaders are good.. lOL.. Was a heck of a good game and loads of fun in the stadium... best crowd so far this year... 47,000 I think... Not too shabby for a Canadian game.. Any one else been
to a live game, please post your thoughts or recolections if you'd like

Going to a game live is so much better than watching it on TV. I haven't been to a football game live in a few years, but always hockey. Might take in a BC Lions game this season though.

My uncle works for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, so he usually hooks me up with tickets for a few games. Theres nothing like watching a game at the world largest outdoor insane asylum, Taylor Field. Sure it doesnt bring in nearly the numbers of you folks there in Edmonton, but hell, are we alot louder. Just the ambience of the 50/50 ticket sales, over priced food and drinks, and that fat guy that sits next to screaming in your ear and takes up half your seat. You just dont get that at home watching and listening to Glen or Chris.

Been to a few. Support the Lions when ever I am in town. I miss Lou Passaglia. Dave Dickenson is on FIRE. Live is way better than the toob. I think the CFL pwns and is way better than the NFL because of the fans. Last game I watched was Argonauts vs Eskimos (what a game!) Mike (Pinball) Clemons is to the CFL what grapes is to hockey. I dare someone to hate that guy.

I hate too break it too you but football is life in the states, sorry been too lots of CFL games but nfl or us college kicks its ass, went too Arizona-ArizonaSt game last year and 10 blocks around the stadium people were tailgaiting and partying.

I've been to Lions games in BC Place, and they are fun and loud. I do have to say that I miss the games in good old Empire Stadium. Something about open air stadiums watching a CFL game. I guess it's so many great memories from when I was a kid watching the Lions and the old Whitecaps there.

I've been to lots of CFL games but have never sat in the stands to watch them. I'm one those guys on the sideline that everyone wonders what they do. Answer: Nothing...just watching the game.
