Awsome, good news. I found family in England about 5 years ago. Turns out Great Grandpa wasn't so faithful to the missus when he was off fighting the Nazis. We have become close though, they even leagally changed their last names!

my greatgranddad was in the merchant marine out of Glasgow... got shipwrecked off of Nova Scotia, fished from the water and brought to Halifax... he married a local and settled down... met my grandpa's cousins in a pub... they knew I was family before I even asked... (I look like my granddad) the guy I met was a WWII vet from the Royal Scots Rifles, shot 4 times on 3 separate occasions... sat there with his whisky, in his legion hat... good to have met him!
