She's not in Canada.
Believe it or not, Canada DOES have some amazing cancer treatment facilities.
Besides Bart, I've also heard stories from the US where a cancer patient was told to go home and make their final arrangements, only to continue living after successive treatments.
What it ultimately boils down to is always, ALWAYS get a second opinion if not a third.
