Finally, lower generic drug prices! This is something that needed to be addressed as anyone who has to take daily medication knows. Ontario had some of the highest generic drug prices around. The Ontario government has reduced most generic drug prices by at least 50% by eliminating professional allowances. Find out what this means for us all.

I noticed a big sign @ the NoFrills pharmacy stating that fees and other medicine related charges were being reduced. A good idea indeed.

This is a great little video that really simplifies an important issue. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tlky-I4_3wM

You know how the government is always pissing on your leg and telling you it's raining? I'd start looking for a towel if I was you. That's a government advertisement just in case you didn't know.

Then you won't be upset when the No Frills closes and you need to drive to a big box store to get your meds.

That'll be the day.

Besides, I don't require meds. I just happened to see the sign today while grocery shopping.

You realize that she was posting that on behalf of the McGuinty office don't you?

Besides generic drugs only account for 15% of the drug dollars spent yet they've done nothing to address the other 85% nor have they disclosed or passed along any the kick backs they get from them.

REGINA: sorry for being such a sod.

Cheers.

Not to worry at all ! They want you to believe the good stuff and if it sounds too good to be true.......it usually is. Four years ago the Liberals set up the "Professional Allowances" for the pharmacies and now their advertisements want you to think that's theft.

The fact you didn't comment on my post leaves me to think you should just slip out the back door. I heard the ministry was posting garbage propaganda on message boards but didn't think it would pop up here.
Say Hi to Dalton the dud for us.
