Because your average politician wouldn't know valid science if it kicked them in the face? There is little if any evidence to support osteopathy as a valid form of treatment for anything, and is largely considered pseudoscience by the allopathic medical community. It's up there with chiropractic "medicine".

She is not speaking out against all vaccines, she is pointing out problems with the rushed vaccine for covid-19. Most anti vaxxers have zero scientific credentials. They broadcast conspiracy theories from their parents basement on their youtube channels. This Dr. does not fit the profile.

Actually, she's worse. Because the anti-vaxxers with zero scientific credentials can be dismissed. But because this doctor practices fake medicine, people are more likely to believe her nonsense, and as a result more people are going to end up dying.

A DNA vaccines doesn't alter the DNA of the person it's injected into, that's complete and utter horseshit. It doesn't integrate with our cells, it's used to train our immune system to identify the virus so that antibodies can be produced should we come in contact with it.

Something not being used on humans before is meaningless. There was a point where surgery wasn't done on humans, should that mean we should never do surgery?

She claims they're skipping animal trials, which is wrong. Harvard is doing animal studies of DNA vaccines for example.

I don't really need to keep going once she starts talking about vaccine ingredients. Everything she's talking about is classic anti-vaxxer bullshit that's be debunked ad nauseum for the last decade or more. She's a quack. She has no fucking idea what she's talking about.

The Brazilian president, Jair Bolsonaro, has announced live on television he has tested positive for coronavirus.

“It came back positive,” a mask-wearing Bolsonaro told a hand-picked group of reporters on Tuesday lunchtime outside his official residence.

“There’s no reason for fear. That’s life,” the president added. “Life goes on. I thank God for my life and the role I’ve been given to decide the future of this great nation that is called Brazil.”

Bolsonaro, 65, has repeatedly trivialized the pandemic and flouted social distancing, even as Brazil became the second-worst-hit country after the United States, with more than 65,000 deaths and 1.6m confirmed cases.

In March, as Covid-19 claimed its first victims in Brazil, the far-right populist used an address to the nation to brag that, if infected, he would quickly shake off the illness thanks to his “athlete’s background”.

Since then, Bolsonaro has continued to attend social events and political rallies, often wearing masks incorrectly, or not wearing them at all.
