Then again, you could still smoke in the hospital too.

The thing is smoking has an immediate impact on the health of others around you. eating a doughnut isn't going to affect someone else's health unless you have a coronary and fall on them.
Oh trust me, that wasn't a complaint

I just found it bizarre that I could sit in the TV room at the hospital and have a smoke. EDIT** It wasn't even a room, it was an open area right by the nursing station
I was also kinda using it as a refernce point for how long it's been since hospitals actually served truly tasty food.
