Another player scratched for tonight, we have basically only

3 forward lines today.

Let's be happy it's Norway.

Well now....I'm not too sure this is a great time in the tournament to be playing Norway, but as long as the boys use this game properly I guess it's not too bad. I just hope they don't start playing down to Norway's level and then have to pick it back up against the Swedes on Friday.

Were fine.

5-1; 2 goals from Schenn. Olsen isn't playing well though. He might be injured or something.

That's exactly what it looked like on that Norwegian goal. Time for the coaches to get the team re-focused.

Man, ya gotta feel for the Norwegians. We are so much bigger, faster,
and better skilled.

Something should be done with the goal difference rules,
this could get embarrassing.

Quote:
Sweden has lost star forward Gabriel Landeskog to a high ankle sprain, and the 18-year old is a longshot to play again in this year's World Junior Championship.

Landeskog, who is captain of the OHL's Kitchener Rangers, hurt his ankle in his last OHL game against the Guelph Storm and the injury got progressively worse while he has been with Team Sweden. He is officially listed as day-to-day by Team Sweden.

Landeskog is having a superb year for Kitchener with 25 goals and 20 assists in 32 games. He is projected by many to be a top-five pick in next year's NHL Draft.

Landeskog lost

Tough break for Sweden. Could be good for us.
