For those interested the 2012 All Star draft is now on TSN.

Quote:
Team Alfredsson and Team Chara make their picks at the 2012 NHL All-Star Player Fantasy Draft. Check out the pick-by-pick results as the squads are set for the 2012 NHL All-Star Game in Ottawa. Under the Fantasy Draft rules, all goaltenders must be taken by the end of Round 10 and all defencemen must be selected by the end of Round 15.

The All Star media day starts at 5:00pm PT Friday on TSN with the All Star skills competition going at 4:00 pm PT Saturday on CBC. The All Star game is being played in Ottawa at 1:00 pm PT Sunday and will also be shown on the CBC network, at least that's the schedule for those of us on the West Coast.

I'll be watching the skills competition as usual. Mrs. Animal is cookin' up some ribs for the event.
I will NOT be watching the game itself unless there's SFA else on at 4:00 on Sunday.

I'm watching. Typical All-Star Game. Not terribly exciting, perhaps they should up the Ante. 5 Game suspensions for all players on the losing Team.

Or go back to East vs. West and the winning confeabce gets home ice advantage in the Stanley Cup Final.

I wouldn't necessarily call it "boring", it is definitely not as exciting as your usual league game. You might consider this could be the future of the NHL if all those calling for a ban on body checking have their way.
