Wow, this sure isn't the same team Canada faced in the opening game of the tournament. The Slovaks are showing they belong in the semi-finals. Good first period by Canada though. They need to adjust to how aggressive the Slovaks have been at both ends of the ice so far. I'm glad they're getting a good game from the Slovaks and it isn't another blow out.

Great game for Canada, amazing third period for both Team Canada and Denis Godla , the goalie from Slovakia. OMFG that kid played well. That game could have been 10-1 if it hadn't been for the play of Godla.

Now, the best rivalry in Hockey.... Canada / Russia Gold medal game.....Go gettem boys!....

You, me and the entire crowd sitting there. They said the teammates picked their own players. I think the Slovaks messed up. It was nice to see the crowd chanting for Godla and giving him the recognition he deserved. That kid played an absolutely amazing game. He should be extremely proud of himself, as should the rest of his team and his country.
