So, are ya out of bed?.... I woke up a little late and we're down 1-0 to St Petersburg part way through the second period.

Hmmm.... We're down 3-1 going into the third period.
Our boys are going to need a monumental effort to get back into this game.

Team Canada made it interesting in the third period. They made it close drawing to within one late in the third. St. Petersburg then notched an empty net goal with just one a minute left in the period, but Canada played hard till the last whistle as they drew within one again. That empty net goal proved to be the winner as SKA St. Petersburg wins the Spengler Cup with a 4-3 victory over Canada. It was a pretty damn good game to watch.
