The police said that when the habs eliminated the bruins in 2008 (7 matches too), 100% of the persons arrested didn't even watch the game.
Also, yesterday at a Montreal radio show, a partisan called saying he was leaving the game in the metro (so going north) and people in the opposite train (south, to downtown) were wearing full face masks (hoods or whatever, the "ski doo head gear"). So they arrived after the game.

I wonder what the law is on large crowd vandals and looters ? Throwing them in jail for 6 months automatically + fine would be a good deterrent. Instead of just a few hours in lock up and 150 dollar fine.
But this type of thinking is what cause Harper to loose some votes in Quebec last time around during the federal election, tough on youth crime.
