I'm notoriously TERRIBLE at predicting hockey outcomes and don't even try, anymore. I never thought that the Habs would sweep them in only 4. This bodes well ...

First sweep since 1993. Good stuff.

Now lets hope the Bruins / Wings absolutely kill each other. :)

What are these "play-offs" you all speak of?

In all honesty I didn't see that sweep happening. 8O

As an aside, it seems like Montreal is one of those teams who tend to get a ton of power plays late in a game, especially if it's close. Sure that was a trip, but what of the holding/interference by the Habs right before the trip?

Jesus Christ the series hasn't even started yet and yer already complaining.

Tell ya what, if I had a dollar for every time the Habs got screwed on a call,

I would be a very rich guy.

You could probably say the same. :)

If you had a dollar for every call Montreals opponents got handed you'd be rich, your scenario leaves you with nothing.

I like the fact Montreal did well this year and I hope and pray they meet Boston in the next round. It will be fun to watch Habs fans pour out excuse after excuse when they get eliminated. (Kinda like Canucks fans in 2011)

And we all know what happened in '93 [B-o]

I think I'm going to be cheering for Detroit now.

Detroit started well but faded in the third, and were almost non-existant in the OT. Younger guys on the club not quite ready for the grind of playoff hockey. Give them a couple more years with the veterans guidance and they become a team to reckon with again.

Hopefully Boston can end this Saturday and get prepped to dismantle the Habs. 8)

Boston moves on to round 2. I really thought that series would go to 7 games.

Funny -- I think the same thing about the Habs and their fans.

Personally I love when Montreal is playing badly at home and their "fans" turn on them.

I live in Leaf land and they will politely applaud for anything. It is truly pathetic. No wonder they're losers.
