Welcome Leaf fans! As many of you know, the hockey season started today. We played the defending Stanley Cup champions in Detroit, the Red Wings, and beat them 3-2!

I will do my best to produce some of the same old content I brought about in the original CKA Leafs Nation Thread a few years ago.

Get out there and cheer, Leafers! This is sure to be one hell of an exciting season!

It's time to paint this website Blue and White!

The Detroit game, unfortunately, lulled some of the more casual fans into thinking this season might not be too bad, Montreal proved them wrong. This season will be bad...the Leafs simply don't have the firepower, depth or discipline to contend, and that's not bad because rebuilding starts with the draft - and you need finish crap last to reap the rewards.

[B-o]

Sorry guys, but, in my point of view, this game was simply awesome!

But don't be pessimist. We got shit years too, in Montreal, in the past years.

Your turn will come too, if the DG make a good job.

It will be Monday, and it will be on at 1 PM in Toronto-Time, so 8 PM in Sweden, I think. And yes, I'll be glad to put the Swedish time back up, :P

Best to clarify, just tell me what your time is right now and I'll calculate it through the time it was posted and such and give you the actual time, since I can't remember the time difference. :D

But, after the Detroit game, I had the parade route planned! I figured it would go down College past the old Gardoons, so I screwed a Roots chair to the intersection...don't take it, it's mine!

Yup, the road out of oblivion is going to be a loooooooong one.

Awe, how sad. Guess you'll have to depend on the nucks to bring the cup home eh?
