First Pick overall!!! John Tavares!!!! whooo! 20 win season! but seriously, don't expect much for the next 3 seasons (or the previous 41 seasons for that matter). But I think there will be a couple of nice surprises Kulemin could be one of those nice surprises, as will Schenn, without big Mats I dunno who will emerge as the offensive leader for the team (it should be Blake..but I doubt it will). This shall be an interesting season (albeit one I have already written off...) Go Leafs Go.

To all you Maple Leaf fans out there (the team not the meat LOL) how badly do you think we'll do this year?

I think with all the no-names we signed we have pretty much guaranteed we won't make the playoffs. But just fininshing in the middle will screw us for the draft so let's cross out fingers and hope for the worst!

Isn't there a set prize sum for every position? Say you finnish last you'll get a very smal sum but finnishing in the top half will entitel you to a much larger prize sum?

I have an interesting theory as to why the Leafs are always so shit.

Toronto will never have a good team untill they stop selling out every game. The Leafs organization knows that they will sell out every Leaf game even if the Leafs loss every game by ten goals. As long as they can sell out games there is no need to win the cup because it is all about profits. The cities where the sport is not that popular and profits are low is where the cup goes to try and improve the popularity of the sport in that area.

Its not always the case but the leafs definately do not need to make the play offs to generate more income as they are already the richest team in the league.

Decent playing by the leafs
and now with mats gone (even though i really liked him)
kids are stepping up.
Stajan is on for a career year and so is Antropov
and Maybe even Poni

I love how there was all this talk about there is no scoring in leaf land
Beacause they can score. Go Jeremy williams
I think that the leafs have a decent team
need better defenceman (get rid of finger)

Get rid of toskala while his market value is somewhat good cause he is playin like shit
and bring up Pogge
there is a good looking leafs team for the future even if they dont get tavares

The leafs have a good defence man in luke schenn
good offensive scorer in Jeremy Williams
And mitchell isnt bad either

get rid of Hollweg he is a waste of space and doesnt even contribute a point
at least Belak or Domi could get a goal and a few assists

And shave hollwegs gay moustache

get another defenceman and use Ian White as a winger
